​안상철미술관 Ahnsangchul Museum

안상철미술관은 연정 안상철 화백이 말년에 작업실로 사용하던 아뜰리에 근처에 2008년 건립되었으며, 이후  2013년에 경기도 사립미술관으로 등록하였습니다.

안상철미술관은 한국화가 안상철과 서양화가 나희균 부부의 예술세계를 알리고 한국미술사에서의 위상을 정립하기 위해 설립되었으며 두 작가의 작품을 보존 관리하고 연구에 힘쓰고 있습니다. 또한 다채로운 전시를 기획·개최하고 체계적인 교육프로그램 운영을 통해 미술관을 찾은 관람객들에게 문화예술에 대한 깊은 이해와 예술적 체험의 기회를 제공하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

The Ahnsangchul Museum was built in 2008 near the atelier that artist Ahn used as his studio in his later years, and was later registered as a private art museum in Gyeonggi Province in 2013.

 

The Ahnsangchul Museum was established to promote the world of the artworks of Ahn Sangchul and his wife, Na Heegyun, and to establish their status in Korean art history. It preserves, manages, and researches the artworks of the two artists. It also plans and organizes various exhibitions and operates systematic education programs. Through these efforts, it strives to provide visitors to the museum with a deep understanding of culture and art and an opportunity for artistic experience.
